Pakistani YouTuber Haris Sultan has flagged a fraud attempt by a video editor who changed the name of his channel over allegations of unclaimed money. Mr Sultan has 2.19 lakh subscribers and posts videos criticizing Islam on his YouTube channel. He renounced Islam and became a self-proclaimed atheist. In a post on X, Mr Sultan claimed that the video editor he had hired was from India who had changed the name of his YouTube channel to ‘Scumbag Bagger’. The channel handle is @HarrisSultanAtheist.

In subsequent posts, he shared the photo of the video editor who reportedly tried to scam him and changed the name of his channel.
Mr Sultan also shared a screenshot of the payment he made to the video editor, which show his name as Nihal Pareek.
Earlier this year, Mr Sultan had claimed that he got death threats and shared the screenshots of his Instagram chats. pakistani He had also tagged the police, urging them to identify the individuals involved.
He moved to Australia from his hometown Lahore at the age of 19. He also wrote a book titled ‘God’s Curse – Why I Left Islam’ which was published in 2018.

A Pakistani-born YouTuber claims he made the mistake of hiring a video editor from India who insulted him for imaginatively misspelling the name of his YouTube channel. The YouTuber, identified as Haris Sultan, took to X (formerly Twitter) to reveal what happened to his channel. He claimed that he hired a cheap video editor from India who tried to scam him out of money and when he refused to pay, he changed the name of his channel to “Scumbag”. “Begger”.

After the post went viral, YouTube responded by commenting, “@TheHarrisSultan completely understands your frustration, we’ve sent you a DM with next steps”. The name of the YouTube channel of a person of Pakistani origin has been restored to pakistani Haris Sultan.
